Screens both eyes within seconds

Point-and-shoot auto-capture technology measures both eyes simultaneously within seconds.

The device provides visual and audible fixation targets to help maintain patient attention, making it practical for pediatric patients, non-verbal individuals, patients with disabilities, and others who may have difficulty completing chart-based vision testing.

The Spot Vision Screener supports objective screening for potential indications of:

On-screen instructions guide the user through positioning and image capture. Once screening is complete, the device displays the measurements and indicates whether a complete eye examination is recommended according to the configured screening criteria.

Binocular and monocular screening

The device supports simultaneous binocular screening as well as monocular screening when required.

Portable rechargeable operation

A fully depleted battery requires approximately two hours to recharge. Welch Allyn recommends battery replacement through an authorized repair facility after approximately 2.5 years under normal use.

Factory calibrated

The Spot Vision Screener is calibrated during manufacturing and does not require routine field calibration after delivery.

Routine maintenance consists primarily of keeping the front optical glass, touchscreen, and exterior surfaces clean and inspecting the device and accessories for damage.
